Services based at Tonbridge Castle include Customer Services; Tonbridge Gateway; the Tourist Information Centre; Attraction; Meeting Rooms; Castle Lawns and offices.
Reporting to the Gateway Manager, you will primarily be responsible to cover evenings and out of hours as required to cover a range of duties and responsibilities as a Caretaker, ensuring the Castle is clear of guests and securely locked up.
You will have previous experience of providing a customer focussed, front-line, public enquiry service and you are IT literate.
There is a lot to learn, so you must be prepared to assimilate and retain a large amount of information quickly and demonstrate a “can-do” approach to your work. In return we will give you ongoing training and support.
NB: This is a a casual post with no fixed or guaranteed hours working on a casual "as and when" basis.
