Senior Land Charges Officer
We have a new opportunity to join the Council as a Senior Land Charges Officer. We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our small but busy team on a full time maternity contract for up to 12 months.
You will be providing valuable information to customers purchasing properties in the Borough. You will be responsible for the processing of all local land charges matters, collation of information for registration, keeping and updating record systems, and dealing with inquiries for search requisitions from a wide variety of customers’. In addition to carrying out searches of the Local Land Charges register, you will be required to use a mapping system to produce accurate search results.
About you
We are looking for people with excellent communication skills and with a keen eye for detail who can demonstrate the importance of colleague and customer care.
You will be experienced in using a variety of IT packages and be able to prioritise your workload to meet deadlines. A confident communicator with excellent customer care skills, you will be able to demonstrate your ability to use your initiative to solve problems and contribute ideas to improving work practices. Attention to detail is an essential skill required in this position due to the impact of the information provided in the search result.
